A review date has a specific meaning
“Last reviewed” is the date CheckRoam last checked the official sources for that destination; it is not a government publication date. Before travelling, open the original advice and confirm the latest update and restrictions.

Where does your data come from?
From four official government travel advisory programs: the US State Department, the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO), Global Affairs Canada, and Australia's Smartraveller. We link to each original source; we do not replace it.
What does 'last reviewed' mean?
Every destination page shows the date we last reviewed the official sources for that destination. Advisory pages also show the date each government last updated its own guidance. Always confirm the latest advisory before you travel.
Is this an official government website?
No. CheckRoam is an independent tool that links to official advisories. Always confirm the latest guidance on your government's official advisory page before you travel, and check that your travel insurance covers your destination and planned activities.
Why do the four governments sometimes disagree?
Each government writes its advisory for its own citizens, based on its own consular presence and risk assessment framework. Advice may differ between nationalities — we show all four side by side so you can compare and read the original before deciding.
